Coming from the tropical rain season in the Philippines, it’s time to cool down a bit, so let’s have a look at the finalists of Canada. Surprise: it’s cooler than expected! We have a winner photo with a lot of snow, and five out of ten of the Canadian finalists show bridges.
The Canadian Register of Historic Places counts almost 12,000 heritage monuments, of which more than 8,000 were listed in Wikipedia. As a result, 5668 images have been uploaded to Wikimedia Commons and Flickr. Flickr? Yes, Canada created its own group pool for Wiki Loves Monuments and transferred the images to Commons. Congratulations to Canada – let the winter come!
